A raised panel door can bring much beauty and style to your home, adding character as it becomes one of the main focal points of your home’s interior.
Raised panel doors can have either horizontal or vertical panels and are made up of three parts: panels, stiles, and rails.
Raised panels float within the frame of the door, and are not glued to allow for expansion and contraction of the door panels.
The stiles are the two long vertical pieces on each side of the door. One side is attached to the doorjamb with hinges. The other side is bored for the doorknob or lever, so it may be latched to the jamb when shut.
The rails are the horizontal and/or vertical pieces in the door that surround the panels and attach to the stiles.
Our solid wood raised panel doors are available in Red Oak, Poplar, Hickory, Maple, Select Alder, Cherry, Mahogany, Knotty Alder, Pine, Knotty Pine, and come in various sizes and styles.
